Nepal L.P Gas Association (NLPGA) is an Umbrella Organization representing and identifying the issues in development of LPG Industry in Nepal. It was established in the Year 1975 and has 56 Members from LPG Bottling Units in Nepal.
Since its inception, it has been continuously working towards promotion of safe use and handling of LPG as an Energy Source in Nepal. LPG Industry has played a key role in promoting LPG as a safe, clean and healthy energy for cooking, and also substituting cooking from traditional energy sources like wood, kerosene, coal, etc. It has had a significant positive impact in the health of home-makers and our environment, aligning with the popular phrase in Nepal “Hario Ban Nepal Ko Dhan” meaning “Green Forest is the True Asset Of Nepal”.
NLPGA is in forefront of advocating the use of LPG as a safe, clean and healthy energy and is reaching out to the remotest parts of the country. It has a key role in developing Norms and Good practices for the Industry with close consultations and Guidance from the Regulators and concerned Authorities.
We also undertake regular trainings and interactions for making the business of its members more efficient, innovative and responsible. The association is also exploring and developing industrial use of LPG for value addition in manufacturing sector and the Economy as a whole.
